Don’t speak German? Never fear, WordCamp Berlin would love to have you! 🙂
This page is to inform all non-German speaking attendees of the WordCamp Berlin 2015.
WordCamp Berlin will be held on Saturday, November 14th, at SRH Hochschule Berlin. We plan for a two-track conference with 12 speakers. We expect around 150 visitors, and we look forward to meeting YOU!
There will also be a Contributor Day on Sunday, November 15th, for everyone who want to get actively involved in the WordPress project. If you are a contributor already, sharing your experience with others will be highly appreciated.
Language
Getting along around Berlin without speaking German should not be a problem. Most Germans understand and often speak English well enough to keep a conversation going. Berlin in particular is a very cosmopolitan city. A large anglophone community can be found around Mitte, Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg which are also interesting go-to areas for eating out and nightlife.
Speakers
Our Call for Papers will be open for presentations in English. The levels of presentations will range from beginners to professionals. Subscribe to our newsletter in order to keep yourself updated with future announcements!
Volunteers
During WordCamp and Contributor Day we need helping hands in every place. If you’d like to volunteer, please fill out our volunteers registration form.
